Applications are now open for residency scholarships to participate in the 14th edition of the Green Week Academy, scheduled for March 25-30, 2025. The Green Week Academy is designed for students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, postgraduate and PHD programs.

The Green Week Academy offers an unparalleled gateway to the world of the Green Economy, allowing for an in-depth exploration of ecological transition and sustainability within the industrial sector.

The Academy Program

The full program of the event is currently being finalized and will be available in the coming weeks on this website.

The first part of Green Week (25-27 March 2025) will be dedicated to a tour among the most innovative companies in terms of sustainability. The selected candidates will meet the companies’ entrepreneurs and technicians through a programme of guided tours during which the different scientific, cultural and technological approaches adopted will be revealed.

The second part of the week (28-30 March 2025) will be located in Parma for the Festival of the Green Economy. All the main national and international experts on the green economy and ecological transition, leading entrepreneurs, and journalists from the sector will be present.

THEMATIC SECTIONS IN PARMA. With a pool of more than 300 speakers including industry experts, journalists, Nobel laureates, lecturers, professionals and entrepreneurs, the thematic sections that will be addressed during the festival are: energy, food and sustainable fashion.

During Green Week, the speakers will also discuss topics such as the energy transition towards decarbonization and the complementarity between renewable energy sources and nuclear power, as well as how the automotive sector is advancing the transition to electric mobility.

Green Week will be the stage for the debate around the behaviour of the younger generations, as it has been recorded that they are the main consumers of fast fashion, despite the fact that most declare themselves to be environmentally and sustainability conscious.

Benefits for selected students

Over the past 13 years, more than 13,000 BA, MA and PhD students attended our Academy Programme. Through our initiative, we offer the unique opportunity to meet and discuss with internationally-renowned scientists and professionals, as well as to join a network of international students sharing similar educational and professional backgrounds.

Our fellowship program grants:

Participation in all activities included in the Festival;
Bus transfers for the whole duration of the itinerary;
Full board accommodation in 3-4 bed rooms for the entire duration of the event (Option 1: 25-27 march; Option 2: 28-30 march;

Our fellowship programme covers 50% of the participation fees. Upon selection of the application, in order to confirm participation to the Academy Programme, selected students are required to pay a participation fee of:

OPTION 1 | “Study tour: Sustainable Factories” (3 days and 2 nights): 300,00 euro;
OPTION 2 | Festival of Green Economy (3 days and 2 nights): 260,00 euro;
OPTION 3 | Tour completo – “Sustainable Factories” & Festival of Green Economy (6 days and 5 nights): 560,00 euro.

The Academy Program does not cover travel expenses to/from the city of residence.

At the end of the event, you will receive an official certificate of participation, which you can add to your resume as proof of an exclusive educational experience recognized by leading Italian companies.

Applications are reviewed weekly, so don’t miss your chance!

Selected students are required to follow the program of events established by the organizers and to actively participate in the scheduled activities over the three days of the event.

The selection of applicants will be at the sole discretion of the event’s organizing committee; applications will be reviewed and approved weekly until all spots are filled.

Our staff will provide selected students with all necessary information regarding meals, accommodation, and the event schedule, as well as instructions for payment of the participation fee.
